بیانیه مشترک به مناسبت سالگرد جان‌باختگان زندانیان سیاسی در سال ۱۳۶۷
با فرا رسیدن ماه‌های مرداد و شهریور ۱۳۹۹، سی‌ودو سال از یکی از تکان‌دهنده‌ترین جنایت‌های تاریخ معاصر ایران و جهان، یعنی فاجعهٔ کشتار هزاران زندانی سیاسی در زندان‌های رژیم جمهوری اسلامی سپری می‌شود. با گذشت بیش از سه دهه از این رویداد برخی گوشه‌های تاریک این جنایت، امردهندگان، سازمان‌دهندگان و اجراکنندگان آن روشن شده است و جای هیچ شبه‌ای باقی نگذارده است که کشتار هزاران زندانی اسیر که بسیاری از آنان پیش از این در بیدادگاه‌های قوهٔ قضاییه رژیم محاکمه و به زندان محکوم شده بودند و بر خلاف دروغ‌پردازی‌های رئیس قوه قضائیه و دیگر سران رژیم دربارهٔ دلیلِ قتل‌عام زندانیان سیاسی جز پاک‌سازی بزرگ و خونین مخالفان سیاسی از جمله اعضای سازمان مجاهدین خلق، سازمان فداییان خلق ایران (اکثریت)، حزب تودهٔ ایران، فداییان اقلیت، راه کارگر و دیگر نیروهای چپ و ملی کُرد هدفی جز تأمین ماندگاری بیشتر برای حاکمیت استبداد مذهبی نداشته است.
با گذشتن ۳۲ سال از این کشتار و دیگر جنایت‌های دههٔ شصت و سال‌های پس از آن، آمران و مُجریانِ این جنایت هولناک امروز همچنان بر سرنوشت میهن و مردم ما حاکم‌اند. باید از این تجربه تاریخی آموخت و به این نتیجه منطقی رسید که حکومت و رهبرانش که برای حفظ خود حاضرند این چنین جنایت هولناکی را سازمان‌دهی کند، و دست به تبه‌کاری‌های دیگر بزند اصلاح‌ناپذیر است و ادعای امکان تغییر ماهیت آن از طریق مذاکره و نصیحت، خاک پاشیدن در چشم توده‌ها و یاری رساندن به دوام حاکمیت خون‌بار استبداد در کشور ماست. دوم آنکه فرمان خمینی و همسویی و مشارکت دیگر سران رژیم در کشتار زندانیان سیاسی، و به قول آقای منتظری، با زیر پا گذاشتن حتی قوانین جمهوری‌اسلامی، نشان‌دهندۀ این واقعیت است که حکومت کنونی ایران تنها در نام "جمهوری" است و در ساختار و عملکرد حکومتی است عمیقاً استبدادی و ضدمردمی که بدون عبور از کلیت جمهوری اسلامی، نمی‌توان به آیندهٔ کشور و امکان تحولی در راه استقرار آزادی و حاکمیت اراده مردم بر سرنوشت‌شان امیدوار بود.
با گذشت ۳۲ سال از این کشتار و نیز دیگر جنایت‌های دههٔ شصت و پس از آن هنوز ادامهٔ سیاست‌های سرکوب خشن ضد انسانی به حقوق شهروندی مردم و اعدام‌ها را از سوی رژیم ولایت فقیه شاهدیم؛ در این سال‌ها تلاش‌های چشم‌گیری در سراسر دنیا جریان داشته تا نگذارد که گرد فراموشی بر این جنایت بی‌سابقه در زندان‌های جمهوری اسلامی بنشیند. امروز در نتیجه‌ی مبارزه‌ی مجموعه‌ی نیروهای آزادیخواه و به ویژه خانواده‌های جان‌باختگان، بسیاری از اقدامات پنهانی حکومتیان برملا شده است.
اما مبارزه برای دستیابی به حقیقت ادامه دارد. زیرا اعضا و هواداران حزب تودهٔ ایران و حزب چپ ایران (فدائیان خلق ) و دیگر نیروهای آزادیخواه، ملی و دموکراتیک کشور وظیفهٔ انسانی و انقلابی خود می‌دانند که تا روشن شدن و محاکمه مسببان این جنایت هولناک همچنان پیگیرانه به تلاشهایشان در زمینهٔ افشای این توطئه شوم تاریخ سال‌های اخیر میهن ما ادامه دهند. برای شکستن توطئهٔ سکوت دربارهٔ فاجعه ملی باید همهٔ تلاش‌ها را تشدید کرد. مبارزه و فشار برای باز کردن پرونده این جنایت و تلاش در راه روشن کردن همهٔ ابعاد گوناگون آن، رسیدگی به خواست خانواده‌های قربانیان این فاجعه هولناک بی‌شک نقشی مهم و تعیین‌کننده در مبارزه‌ای دارد که در میهن ما برای دستیابی به صلح، آزادی، دموکراسی و عدالت اجتماعی در جریان است. وظیفهٔ انسانی، مردمی و تاریخی همه نیروهای ترقی‌خواه و مدافع آزادی است که در راه تحقق این مهم تلاشهایشان را تشدید کنند.
مبارزه برای حقیقت، ادامه می یابد زیرا باید کار را از داوری تاریخی، به داوری حقوقی نیز رساند. بدون تشکیل دادگاه صالحه برای رسیدگی به موارد نقض حقوق بشر در جمهوری اسلامی، هرگونه سخن گفتن از جامعه‌ی مدنی، حقوق بشر و حکومت قانون در ایران بی معنی است. تنها تضمین نهادینه شدن این ارزش ها، رسیدگی حقوقی و حقیقت‌یابی در مورد عوامل و ریشه‌های آن فجایع است.
اینک که در آستانه سالگرد کشتار جمعی زندانیان سیاسی قرارداریم می‌توان و باید کارزار مشترک و متحدی را برای مطالبه‌های مورد اشاره سازمان و ادامه داد. دستیابی به این هدف‌ها اقدامی یکپارچه و متحد را می‌طلبد.
ماندگار باد خاطره تابناک مبارزات دلیرانهٔ قهرمانان به‌نام و گمنام خلق!
درود بیکران بر همۀ مبارزان راه آزادی و فرزندان دلاور خلق که در کشتار فاجعه ملی سال ۱۳۶۷ جان باختند!

Joint Statement On The Occasion of Anniversary of Execution of Political Prisoners in 1988
- approaching of August and September of 2020, thirty-two years from one of the most shocking crimes in the contemporary Iranian and world history, the tragic execution of thousands of political prisoners in prisons of the Islamic Republic of Iran has passed. With passing of more than thee decades from this event, some dark corners of this crime, those who gave the order, organized and those who executed it, have come to light; and there is no doubt that killing of thousands of captive prisoners, where many of those were previously judged and sentenced to prison terms by the regime’s judiciary branch; and contrary to lies of head of the judiciary and other leaders of the regime about the reasons of the political prisoners’ massacre, it was nothing but great and bloody purge of political opposition including the members of the Mojahedin Khalg Organization, Iranian Fedaeian Khalg (Majority), Tudeh Party of Iran, Fedaeian Minority, Raheh Kargar and other Iranian leftist and national groups with the intention of only making the religious dictatorial regime’s rule longer.
With passing of 32 years from that massacre and other crimes in Eighties and years after that, today commanders and executioners of this shocking crime are still in control of the fate of our country and people. One must learn from this historic experience and come to this reasonable conclusion that a regime and its leaders who are willing to organize such a horrifying crime for there own interest, and carry out other similar criminal activities, are not correctable and claims such as possibility of change of its nature through discussion or advice, is throwing dirt into the eyes of masses and assisting with the extension of rule of the bloody dictatorial regime in our country. Also Khomeini’s order and other leaders of the regime’s following and taking part in massacre of the political prisoners, in Montazery’s words, with stepping over even the Islamic Republic’s laws, is a reflection of the fact that Iran’s current government is “Republic” in name only; and in structure and action is a government deeply dictatorial and anti-people; where without passing through the totality of Islamic Republic, we can’t hope for a future for our country and possibility of change for creation of freedom and rule of peoples’ desire and will over their fate.
With passing of 32 years from this massacre and also other crimes of Eighties and years after that, we are still witnessing continuation of harsh and inhumane repressive policies towards peoples’ civil rights and executions by the theocratic regime. During these years far-reaching attempts across the world have been made to prevent dust of forgetfulness covering this unprecedented horrific crime in prisons of the Islamic Republic. Today, as a consequence of struggle of collection of freedom loving organizations, and especially families of those who have lost their lives, much of the hidden activities of members of the regime have been revealed.
- struggle for attaining the truth is continuing. Because members and followers of the Tudeh Party of Iran and the Left Party of Iran (Fedaeian Khalg) and other national freedom loving and democratic organizations in Iran, consider this as their human and revolutionary responsibility that until uncovering the truth and judicial trial of those involved in this horrific crime, steadfastly continue their attempts in exposing tragic conspiracy in recent history of our country. To break the silence conspiracy regarding the National Tragedy, all efforts must be intensified. Struggle and pressure for opening up the files of this crime and efforts in uncovering all its different aspects, responding to demands of the families of those who have lost their lives in this horrific crime, undoubtedly will play an important and critical role in the ongoing struggle for attaining peace, freedom, democracy and social justice in our country. It is humane, caring and historical responsibility and in the interest of freedom that all progressive forces make all their efforts in achieving this important goal.
Struggle for truth is continuing, because efforts from shaping a historical judgment must also be elevated to legal judgment. Without having an expert and competent court considering different aspects of violations of humane rights in Islamic Republic, any discussions about civil society, humane rights and a government based on the rule of law in Iran is meaningless. The only way to secure institutionalization of these values, is a lawful and truth seeking effort considering the factors and roots of those crimes.
Now that we are approaching the anniversary of massacre of political prisoners, we can and we must organize and continue a unified struggle for realization of the above mentioned goals. Achieving those goals requires a unified and united attempt.
