Dear Comrades,

We convey to you the wholehearted greetings of Iraqi Communists on the 50^th anniversary of the foundation of the Fadaian Movement in Iran. On this special occasion, we remember the courageous struggle and heroic sacrifices of members and supporters of the movement against the dictatorial regime of the Shah, for freedom, democracy and social justice. Campaigns of bloody repression by successive reactionary forces failed to extinguish its revolutionary spirit.

Celebrating this special event today provides inspiration and further impetus for your members and all progressives in Iran to enhance their unity and continue the fight for democratic change and building a better future.

While warmly saluting the Left Party of Iran on the 50^th anniversary of the foundation of the Fadaian Movement, look forward to strengthening relations between our two parties, as well as the historic ties between the Iranian and Iraqi peoples, for peace, freedom, democracy and social progress.
