The repressive machine of the Islamic Republic talks about the riot of those convicted of financial crimes and the burning of a sewing workshop, but the news indicates that the special guard attacked the political prisoners’ ward. The sound of the explosion and the huge fire that can be seen from a distance, along with the continuous shooting, in the released videos, increase the concern for the lives of the prisoners.
The Left Party of Iran (People’s Fadaian) calls on everyone to defend the lives of the prisoners. The Islamic Republic, which should be responsible for protecting the lives of the prisoners in the prison, has slaughtered them at various times. Tonight's fire can cause another disaster. The prisoners are locked up and the way to escape from the fire is closed to them. There is a risk that the Islamic Republic will once again repeat the scenario of Cinema Rex and this time kill the political elites in prison with their hands tied to death. We hold the Islamic Republic responsible for this fire and warn of its dire consequences.
