Recently, the Iraqi Ministry of Science and Education has asked the Iraqi Students' Association to end its student activities and has banned the continuation of the activities of this association.
The Iraqi Students Association, which recently celebrated its 75th anniversary, wants to continue fighting for the rights of all students.
Union and democratic activities of students are one of the main pillars of civil activities and non-governmental organizations in every country.
Based on the experience of the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement in Iran, which is one of the pillars of the student and youth movement, in our opinion, the action of the Ministry of Science and Education of Iraq is a denial of the right of students to organize and an introduction to wider restrictions in the political and social life of Iraq. We declare our solidarity and support with the struggles and efforts of the Iraqi Students Association and condemn the action of the Iraqi government to ban the activities of the Iraqi Students Association.
