The Left Party of Iran condemns the massacre of civilians and defenseless people in Gaza by the Israeli government. We express our distaste for the continued killings in Gaza and emphasize our solidarity with the people of Gaza. We demand the effective intervention of the United Nations to stop the war and prevent the forced expulsion of the people of Gaza from their land, the immediate establishment of a ceasefire, the immediate cessation of all destructive military operations of the Israeli army, the release of prisoners and hostages and the start of negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians based on the resolutions of the Unite Nations.

“Hamgami” Coalition for a Secular Democratic Republic in Iran demands the immediate release of all political prisoners and an end to the torture and execution of protesters and dissidents. We also believe that the human rights activist Narges Mohammadi does not belong in prison and we demand that Ms. Narges Mohammadi be released from prison as soon as possible, so that she can receive her award on December 10, which coincides with the International Human Rights Day.

The root cause of the fear, terror and unending suffering is clear: Israel’s illegal occupation ofthe West Bank and Gaza, and its unbearable system of apartheid imposed on Palestiniansthroughout Palestine/Israel. Palestinians have shown that no amount of firepower will forcethem to flee the only land they have left.The international community MUST force Israel to negotiate.
