Left Party of Iran (People‘s Fadaian) Demands Justice in Access to Corona Vaccines
The Political and Executive Committee of the Left Party of Iran (People’s Fadaian) has declared its support for the initiative of the Communist Party of France (CPF) and the German Left Party in favor of justice in the access to Corona vaccines. The declaration of the LPI-PF points out that the Covid-19 pandemics is a threat to the entire world, and that this threat can be mitigated only through international solidarity. The statement condemns the nationalist politics of rich countries and the profit-oriented approach of pharmaceutical companies who refuse to provide all countries with knowledge and technology to produce vaccines for the Corona virus. The LPI-PF demands an end to the protection of patents on Covid-19 vaccines and extension of production capacities for the vaccines.
