On Friday, September 30th, people's protest in Zahedan was bloodied by the attack of the military and law enforcement forces of the Islamic Republic. According to the report of the Baloch Activists Campaign, security agents have killed at least 58 Baloch citizens and injured more than 250 people. This campaign has confirmed the identity of forty-two of the dead. Many were also arrested. The people of Zahedan came to the street to protest against the rape of a 15-year-old Baloch girl by the police commander of Chabahar, and in support of the national uprising of the people of the country, and during the march, they were attacked by the armed forces stationed in the sixteen police station of Zahedan. It has been reported that martial law has been established in Zahedan and schools and universities have been closed.
While sympathizing with the families of the deceased and the people of Zahedan, the Left Party of Iran (People’s Fadaian) strongly condemns the shooting at people and the killing of protesters in Zahedan. In order to maintain its dark ruling, the Islamic Republic confronts every protest movement with violent repression. The regime is actually trying to create an atmosphere of terror in the country to incite violence and justify its brutal repressions. But the people's resistance in more than a hundred cities of the country showed that it is only with solidarity and united protests that the regime's trick of creating an atmosphere of violence and terror can be neutralized and the way to live in freedom and security can be paved.
