Congratulations to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the Elected President of Brazil

November 1, 2022

Dear Mr. Lula da Silva
With Comradery Greetings,

We, hereby congratulate you on your re-election to the presidency of Brazil.
Considering the growing role of Brazil in Latin America and the world, your election to the presidency is extremely important at the international level and an important step towards the continuation of your country's progress in order to play a positive role in the domestic and international arena and from this point of view, it is a source of hope for supporters of social justice, preservation of the environment and guardian of peace and security in the world.

You are aware of the "Women, Life, Freedom" movement in our country Iran and the blatant violence of the Islamic Republic. We hope you will support the goals of this movement and the efforts of the Iranian people to achieve freedom and equality. With outwardly anti-imperialist slogans, the Islamic Republic actually justifies its anti-imperialist approach and with this policy tries to consolidate its sovereignty against the interests of the Iranian people, especially millions of workers and laborers.

Your and our struggle for a better, just and humane world, with all the characteristics specific to our countries, are in the same direction. If in your country it is possible for the left forces to form a broad front against neoliberalism and the social inequalities caused by its rule through free elections, in our country, with the ruling tyranny, it is still difficult to create such a possibility.

We wish you success in realizing your plans to preserve the environment, to stop the destruction of the Amazon forests and to realize the ideal of social justice in Brazil and actively participate in maintaining peace and security in the world.

With respect

Political-Executive Board of the Left Party of Iran (People’s Fadaian)
