The Left Party of Iran considers the struggle for the unconditional freedom of all political and ideological prisoners and to counter the exacerbation of oppression and the atmosphere of repression in the country and emphasizes the necessity of solidarity between progressive and freedom -seeking forces in this regard.

The participants also discussed ways to enhance the role of the Arab Left Forum and coordinate the action of Left forces across Arab countries and other national liberation movements. Their aim is to mobilize political and social forces to confront the bullying and thuggery of US-Israeli policies, thwart attempts to violate national sovereignty, plunder resources, and impose foreign domination.

We call on all freedom-loving forces, human rights defenders, and peace advocates inside and outside the country to intensify the struggle to pressure all parties to adhere to the ceasefire and move towards a lasting peace, while simultaneously working to lift sanctions and stop the repressive and anti-people policies of the Islamic Republic.

Le Parti de Gauche d’Iran appelle tous ses compatriotes, à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur du pays, à intensifier la campagne pour l’arrêt immédiat de la guerre et l’établissement d’un cessez-le-feu inconditionnel, par tous les moyens possibles et dans une démarche coordonnée et unifiée. Ce combat doit se poursuivre parallèlement à la lutte contre le régime de la République islamique et pour la libération inconditionnelle de tous les prisonniers politiques et d’opinion.

The Left Party of Iran calls on compatriots inside and outside the country to intensify the campaign for an immediate end to the war and an unconditional ceasefire in any way possible, with a coordinated and unified voice, while at the same time continuing the struggle against the Islamic Republic and for the unconditional release of all political and ideological prisoners.

Today is the time for the cry of no war, no warmongers, and no tyranny to resound louder than ever, and for the purpose of lasting peace, global pressure for an unconditional ceasefire without losing time should increase. The more the war in Iran escalates, the more the security of the people will be jeopardized not only in Iran but also in the region. The people of Iran do not need US bombing or Netanyahu’s false sympathy to free themselves from the Islamic Republic.

The Left Party of Iran, with its condolences to all the families whose loved ones have fallen victim to the bombings of the aggressor Israeli government, invites all compatriots to form popular cooperative committees in neighborhoods and throughout Iran. So far, under the Israeli bombings, the Islamic Republic has not taken any other action to help the people and stop the war, except to ....intensify the repression of the people. In these critical times for the region, while we express our solidarity with the Iranian people, we call for the rejection of the logic of aggression, domination, and coercion. What is needed is to establish security and stability as the foundation for development, respect for human rights, and a life of dignity and freedom.

The Left Party of Iran condemns Israel’s military action against Iran, which was carried out with the full logistical support of the United States and its allies and considers Netanyahu’s right-wing government and the leadership of the Islamic Republic to be two sides of a criminal game that, hand in hand, threaten the people of Iran and the region with war and destruction.

Many Iranian and non-Iranian parties were present at the convention. A rainbow of organizations -- leftist, national, democratic, and republican -- expressed their solidarity with the Iranian people’s struggle and with our party’s goals and objectives.
